Mikhail Gorbachev has died. Many thinks with him a whole era has gone. Really? Or he killed a whole era long before he died? But one thing is true - Russia played a crucial role in the formation of the modern world. October revolution gave hope to have nots to change the world in their favor and brought end to old style colonial world, Gorbachev gave hope for peaceful coexistence, but his weaknesses and submissive mentality shows that only a strong Russia can fight out peace otherwise both Russia and the world will be in trouble rather sooner than later. Today's Russia is fighting for what Gorbachev lost due to his naivety. Balance of force is crucial for a harmonic world. Can Russia provide this much needed balance?
